Project
Outline

Experiences of reablement services

Man making coffee

North Tyneside's reablement service offers six weeks free support after hospital discharge. The service works with people to rebuild their confidence, support the development of daily living skills and promote community access and integration with the aim of preventing hospital readmission or the need for long-term care. Adults affected by autism

Man looking for information

We want to speak with people affected by autism to hear their experiences and their ideas about how the lives of adults with autism could be improved. We will support people with autism and their care partners to become more involved with the local implementation of ‘fulfilling and rewarding lives’ – a strategy for adults with autism.

Quality of home care services

woman and carer

Last year we looked into people's experiences of home care services in North Tyneside. North Tyneside Council will be setting up new contracts for home care services in 2012 and so we have agreed to ask people for their views later in 2011 so they can be fed into the process for selection of service providers.Visit the project space
